1952 ALFRED HALE
Alfred Hale published a thesis in 1952 that came to have major importance in the field of friction skin development. Morphogenesis of the Volar Skin in the Human Fetus was significant because it explains fully and clearly how the formation and development of the friction ridge occurs, stressing the impact of differential growth on their development.
